Fairly clean hotel, informative stuff at the reception desk. A spotless and cheap and reasonably priced room with comfortable beds, a giant screen TV with a group of family. Satisfactory breakfast at the bistro Starbucks and magnificent location. Only 5 minutes walk from 5th Avenue-53rd Street subway station.

I traveled for the NYC marathon, stayed five nights. Overall, stay was excellent. very comfortable room for 3 people (31 m2 aprox), included refrigerator, TV, wifi, hot water, desk and chair, bathtub (hot tub) that helped me to recover after the marathon. room was very clean, taps, bathrooms, everything worked well. stay did not include breakfast, hotel offers at additional cost. hotel is on 3rd avenue between 52nd and 53rd streets. location is excellent, although it is a more commercial area (banks, financial institutions). There is a subway station stop less than 200 meters away (53rd and Lexington) that has several routes to 42nd Street and Broadway, 34th Street Central Station, among others. There is a Walgreens pharmacy right next to the hotel, Starbucks across the street and several cafes (I liked Gregorys Coffee, about 400m from the hotel), restaurants of all kinds (I liked Tina's Cuban Cuisine, 700m from the hotel, they speak Spanish), pizzerias/pasta, Johnny Rockets, McDonalds. Close to the hotel at a walking distance is the Rockefeller Center (Top of the Rock, is on 50th street). In 15-20 min walking from the hotel you are in Times Square (or you can take the subway). reception and service staff are very friendly, we always approach them in English (I'm not sure if they speak Spanish).
In general, everything is excellent, but perhaps for the price paid, the stay included breakfast.

It's a great location.
There wasn't enough microwave in the room. I had to go down to the ground floor.

We were a group of 5 friends, after searching a lot on the Internet for an accommodation that met our expectations and did not go out of our budget, we chose this one. Everything in general was fantastic. We requested a room on a high floor with a view, which they more than fulfilled, from the bed we could see the Crysler building, the UN building and a wonderful view of the NY skyscrapers. The room was spacious enough for 5 people (with 2 suitcases per person). The bathroom was OK, they changed the towels every day and gave us more when we asked for them free of charge. The room has a small fridge, super useful to keep some fruit, drinks.. They kept our bags for us at no charge and helped us with restaurants and shops nearby. The hotel is well located, about 15 minutes walk from Times Square. It is not a problem since on the way to the famous square, you have the opportunity to pass by "Grand Central Station", "Rockefeller Building", "ST. Patrick Cathedral"... therefore the walk is much more than usable. Totally recommendable
Everything in general has been satisfactory. To make a point, (totally unrelated to the hotel) last night at 5am the fire alarm went off, which meant leaving the room, leaving all our stuff there, and walking down 29 floors. In the end it was just a false alarm and it was all just an anecdote.

The location is good the subway is at the door and connects with several lines. The walking distance to Time Square is about 30' the same as Central Park to Battery Park (Statue of Liberty Connection) or the Brooklyn Bridge by subway takes 25'. We were in a large room of about 40m2 catalogued for up to 6 people on the 30th floor penultimate of the building with very good views. Just below and also around the block there are supermarkets 24h.
It is rare to find someone who speaks Spanish in the reception and dining room service. noisy, city-style A/A, it is turned off you can hear something in the cooling tower of the building in front. bathroom does not have a bidet and in a large room it would be desirable to have two sinks and to have the bath and shower separated. staff is very little focused on tourism one night we asked to go to a jazz show near the hotel and they recommended that we look it up on the Internet with the zip code. There is no dining room or cafeteria except in the morning when they serve breakfast on the 12th floor (Multipurpose Room) at $10 continental, cheapest option. On my way out, I chose to pay with a different card than the one I had been charged as a guarantee for about $400. I paid the bill in full with a different card, was my surprise when I contacted the hotel to ask them to cancel the sale made as a guarantee and they replied that it would take about 15d.

Clean and modern and comfortable. Very quiet.
When we arrived staff told us that Bookings.com hand canceled our room (Bookings.com had confirmed the room to us only about two days prior so we were quite confused.) So after consultation with the manager they offered us one king bed with a pull out, but we had booked two queens. After another consultation with the manager we finally got the room we wanted. The primary problem in the room was that there were no towel racks, except one in the shower for a total of three people and no storage for toiletries. Closet was just outside the bathroom but there was absolutely no light by which to see oneself in the only mirror in the room, which was on the closet doors. There was plenty of wall space where a mirror could have been hung with at least somewhat adequate lighting. Room designers should be required to spend the night with at least one other person in the rooms they design.

Good sized room with sofa and foot stools as well as two comfy double beds. Efficient but simple coffee maker and fridge. Handy 24 hour shop next door. Loved the view from 29th floor and lift was really fast. Subway connections great including direct route to JFK airport. Get a subway map at the hotel as they're like gold dust on mta! Friendly helpful staff.
For the price I would have expected breakfast to be included. As a result we made our own food arrangements and didn't eat in the hotel. Small bath towels - would have liked bath sheets. Room was for four people but they only ever provided coffee and milk for 2-3 people
